INTRODUCING SPEAKERS CORNER - THE WEDDING BAND !

We're a five piece band, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Drums and Vocals.

JOHN – Guitar and Vocals.
An excellent lead guitarist with many years experience playing weddings and dinner dances throughout Scotland. John also plays a large part in the musical arrangement of our numbers. “Mr Nice Guy.”

LAURA – Keyboards and Vocals.
After many years of musical tuition in piano, clarinet, and vocals, Laura began playing with her first band in 2000 and gained valuable experience playing weddings, dinner dances, and club venues. She joined Speakers Corner in 2005 and has quickly established herself as “The Diva.”

PAT – Vocals and Saxaphone
Accomplished vocalist and harmony singer, Pat brings a wealth of musical ability to the band and although he keeps his age a closely guarded secret he will admit to having at least 20 years experience playing weddings and dinner dances. “The Quiet Man.”

DONNY – Drums
What do you call the talentless no user that hangs about with a band? Yes that’s right, the drummer. We’ve all heard the jokes but in this case we have the exception. With 20 years experience at semi-professional level, Donny is a key player with the band. He also handles all enquiries and bookings – “Mr Organiser.”

DONALD – Bass Guitar and Vocals
A tremendous all round musician, Donald keeps us all focused with his "lets get it right" philosophy. He is also an excellent vocalist and harmony singer, and sounds a bit like Neil Diamond. “Mr No Nonsense.”
